Majmudar & Partners acts as Indian legal counsel to Carlisle Companies Incorporated

Carlisle Companies Incorporated (NYSE: CSL) has signed an agreement with CentroMotion for sale of the Carlisle Brake and Friction division (CBF) for an undisclosed amount. CBF is the largest global manufacturer of friction materials and mechatronic solutions for off-highway brake and transmission products. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Rukshad Davar, Partner and Head of the M&A Practice, Ravishankar Raghavan, Tax Counsel, Kritika Agarwal, Associate Partner and Rahul Datta, Associate advised Carlisle on the Indian law aspects of this deal.
