Akil Hirani, Managing Partner, Majmudar & Partners, was quoted in an article by Bloomberg Quint on the topic of former employees being restricted from sharing trade secrets, and a call for a fresh look at the law by the High Court, Calcutta.

“Employers need to be given a better chance to protect their trade secrets without impinging on the employees’ rights to be gainfully employed. The high court ruling is a step in the right direction and makes a good recommendation to revisit the law on protection of confidential information.”
