Amrit Mehta delivers lecture at MNLU

Our partner, Mr. Amrit Mehta, delivered a lecture at the Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, [MNLU] yesterday.

“It was a pleasure to deliver a guest lecture on Transactional and Other Legal Issues to the young and budding students of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai on February 20, 2020, and explain the concepts and common issues faced in M&A deal structures in India”, he said.

This lecture covered key considerations under India’s foreign exchange regulations, the types of deal structures commonly used in India, viz., asset purchase, slump sale, share sale and mergers and amalgamation, commons issues (including, regulatory issues) pertinent to foreign investment and deal structuring and due diligence issues.
